When you become a member of Friends of Mary Cairncross Association you automatically become a custodian of one of South East Queensland's best examples of a Sub Tropical Rainforest. This is the Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve. The Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve is registered on the National Estate (1991).

As a "Friends of Mary Cairncross Association" member you will receive a quarterly Newsletter and will have the opportunity to attend General Meetings, which are held approximately every 3 months at the Education Centre, Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, 148 Mt.View Rd., Maleny. Qld. 4552.

The Newsletter will keep you informed about activities at Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, especially in relation to Volunteering. These Newsletters include summaries of Guest Speaker presentations at the Education Centre. A large range of relevant environmental topics are addressed n each issue of the Newsletter.
